It's unofficialy official, Brad Evans has played his last game for the Crew. According to Ives Galarcep, Brad Evans was picked by Seattle along with nine other current MLS players in the expansion draft today listed below.
Here is the list of players chosen by Seattle:
Nate Jaqua (Houston)
Brad Evans (Columbus)
Stephen King (Chicago)
Jeff Parke (New York
James Riley (San Jose)
Khano Smith (New England)
Jarrod Smith (Toronto FC)
Nathan Sturgis (Real Salt Lake)
Peter Vagenas (Los Angeles)
Tyson Wahl (Kansas City)
Nate Jaqua (Houston)
Brad Evans (Columbus)
Stephen King (Chicago)
Jeff Parke (New York
James Riley (San Jose)
Khano Smith (New England)
Jarrod Smith (Toronto FC)
Nathan Sturgis (Real Salt Lake)
Peter Vagenas (Los Angeles)
Tyson Wahl (Kansas City)
The Peter Vagenas pick makes me believe that Seattle's Technical Director is trying to lure Sigi into a contract, as if Sigi wasn't already interested.
What I gotta wonder is what is that Crew fan by the tunnel gonna do with that "Brad Evans - Down on the Farm" sign. Maybe Brad Evans can ply his cooking skills in America's Most Depressing City.

We might not always show it when you come back in a Sounder-green kit next year, but we love ya Brad Evans and respect the hell outta ya. Thanks for a great '08.

Anybody that helped the CREW win their first championship (of many to come) will always be remembered. Only two players made their way into the starting lineup after opening day, and that was Gino and Brad. Even though Brad made it in bc of Moffat getting hurt, he still had a hell of a season. But now its time for Adam Moffat to step up again!
We are stacked at midfield, but it is really sad to see Brad go. Despite not knowing who he was at the start of the year, he quickly became one of my favorites for his effort on the field. Plus, the cop mustache he's been sporting since the championship is hilarious! Thanks Bob... I mean Brad.
I'll miss you Brad. I remember when everybody hated you., but now you are loved. were loved...
