Bring Cunningham Back To Columbus

Bill Archer's post since he already puts it good enough:
After Toronto failed to beat Montreal and advance to the CONCACAF Champions league, as they felt was their God-given right, a humiliated John Carver LAID ALL OF THE BLAME AT THE FEET OF JEFF CUNNINGHAM

"You want my honest opinion on that? I am thinking, ‘How did he score 99 goals?’ That’s what I thought....If you’re a poacher and you have got desire, no matter how you put the ball over the line you put it over the line"

Yesterday, according to Ives Galarcep, Carver moved Cunningham's locker from the main area, where the senior roster dresses, across the hall to the auxiliary locker room where the developmental roster players dress.

I'll leave aside the rant about how this is about the most shockingly crass, classless behavior from a coach I have ever heard of and just say that knowing Jeffo as we do the guy is now officially done up there.

If for no other reason than because we love him, let's give the America-booing Canadians a supplemental draft pick and get Cunny the hell out of there.

MY THOUGHTS: I'm all for it. Cunningham is a class scorer that got a bump rap in Canada. I mean when you have a coach that is going to be such a classless dick to move your locker to the developmental roster locker room then what do you expect, it's time to go. I bet if we had him as striker he would notch a hat trick against them in September.

Let's bring him back into the fray. Cunningham is very popular in Columbus. The Nordecke and being back in Columbus would bring him a jolt back into his career and give him a reason to play. Because we respect him, Toronto didn't.
