Could Someone Explain To Me?

I was sort of perplexed when Guillermo didn't make the intial All Star roster while being the assist leader in the league.

But, then how does Toja and Bornstein make the team over Guillermo? They have either had a terrible year(Toja) or have been injured the whole year(Bornstein). Or just have been okay like Mastereoni.

If we are going to have All Star games, shouldn't the players be all stars? Talk about a f'in joke. Hopefully it motivates Guillermo to get 30 assists the second half.
