Nigerian Striker Could Be Okocha?

Jay Jay Okocha has officially retired from International football, but still the 34 year old hasn't given word on club soccer.

After being released from Hull City, Okocha was briefly linked with Acrington Stanley of League 2 as a player-coach. But, said they couldn't afford Okocha.

The Crew were linked with Okocha during the winter window. And, with a Nigerian striker expected to be in town sometime this week, could it be Okocha?

I suspect not as Sigi said on the Nigerian expected to be in town. "He's late. But, I'm not concerned it's a long way from Lagos." I don't think for Okocha with all the money he has made in soccer it would be a long way at all.

Still interesting to speculate as Okocha is without a team.
