Bad News

From Hardhatmike on the forums:
"Um, I got some bad news people. I just got off the phone with a member of another MLS team's Front Office with whom I've established a good working relationship over the years. He told me that based on what he's hearing around the league, we need to be taking this very seriously. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to be banging on every door that I can at the Greater Columbus Sports Commission trying to get them involved in working to keep the team here in Ohio. I'm also going to be writing actual letters to every pro sports owner in the state asking them to become involved with this as well. I know we've been teetering back and forth between anger and disbelief on this board today, but we need to start to realize that this is real and it's serious and it's going to happen. So it pretty much falls to us to see if we can put enough pressure on the right people as well as get this out there and publicized that maybe, just maybe, we can make something happen and stave off the death of something that we all love and cherish."

Coming from Hardhat, who loves this team and is a honest guy. I take that as serious.

We have to call up prospective owners, we have to demonstrate, we have to do whatever we can do to stop this. This is serious people. They have been planning this for months. Our FO was quiet on it and didn't warn any of us fans to do anything about it. The only people that will do anything to find a different owner then this Caliguri who wants to move us or HSG who wants to see it happen, is us.

Hopefully, it's not too late.
