Guillermo Gran To Finish Career In Columbus

At the beginning of the year GBS seemed rather disappointed and almost cheated into a second year with Columbus. He had an interest after this season early on of going back to play for his first Argentinian club, Gimnasia. But, those rumors almost seem like eon's ago. As now GBS is smashing MLS assist recorders, is having Columbus fans bow down in his name, and is playing with a club where he is surrounded by immense talent(which was only festering a year ago).

Now Guillermo is poised to stay with Columbus and lead us to glory for this year and at least one more. And also to add a few more trophies to his immense Boca collection. This is the second story, one a few weeks earlier in the Dispatch expressing his pleasure of being with Columbus this season and excitement towards another deal. Guillermo said in that Dispatch story, "If I choose, I choose Columbus." His tone thankfully is not changing.
