Hey! Ohh! Gino!

Gino is a hit on and off the field for the Crew.

The stout good luck charm at left back has been solid at the beginning of the season and since coming off of an injury that lasted him most of the summer. When Gino plays at left back the Crew are 8-0-1. Gino is one of the crucial elements to if the Crew can win it all this year(he must stay healthy), because nobody plays left back like Gino on the Crew roster.

"Before I got here I thought in America you have too many sports; the fans wouldn't go out to Crew Stadium but we have 15, 18, 19,000 at games," he said.

"This is very important. When we play the playoffs maybe the stadium will be full. The fans help out a lot. This league will improve a lot. It is a very good league right now.

"I am happy here. My family is happy. That's very important to me. It's a new experience in my life. I would like to stay here a very long time."

Well, isn't that a nice thing to hear from our players for a change.
