Las Vegas Group To Buy Portion of The Crew?

This comes from the Sports Business Journal recent issue.

"The group of investors that was looking to bring an expansion MLS team to Las Vegas is now looking to acquire a percentage of the Columbus Crew, said Paul Caligiuri, a spokesman for the group."

To read the rest of the article, Crew fans, you will need to sign up for a trial with the Sports Business Journal. I did but I'm sure I can't share the rest of the article to non-users. All I can say is that the intentions of buying a share into the Crew are confusing at best. Who knows what their real intentions happen to be. The article, if you get a trial, doesn't exactly spell doomsday for us at all, so don't freak out yet. But, not sure if this could be considered good news.

Either way I'm sure we will be hearing more about this if it comes to fruition.
