A Public Thrashing of The Revolution By Gregory Richardson. Is He Now Headed to Columbus?

Joe Public FC's Gregory Richardson who is a striker for the Guyanan National team, easily torched a decimated New England side last night with a hat trick on the way to a 4-0 embarrassing route at Gillette Stadium. Will he now do it for the Yellows on Saturdays? According to this Goal article, Mr. Richardson may well be headed to Columbus.

A very good reason to be smiling when the only team that comes a knocking for your services is the first place team and you can expect that Sigi & McCullers are on the phone now asking if Mr. Richardson would like to try that again on Saturday (of course with visa's it will take a little longer, but it's a fun thought to muse over.)

On a slightly related note, New England has dropped the ball twice this year in the Open Cup and now in the CCL big time by not giving their all in those two competitions. This in my belief disqualifies them to be that power dynasty type team in MLS. I would put the Crew at a notch above them now at being able to achieve that task over the next few years. The new Crew would never of been humiliated 6-1 overall by a Trinidadian team named Joe Public FC, especially at home.

Simple conclusion after last night, The Revolution is pure garbage. If they don't give their all in competitions like this, they never can win MLS Cup even if they end up there on various occasions. They just have no heart.
