Stopping The Group Blame Game Both In Toronto and Columbus

In regards to the earlier post about Mr. Karzik slamming Columbus. It's not about placing blame at all on Toronto here. Or blaming Toronto fans as a whole for anything. It's about calculating what caused the altercation and fixing it.

Our concern is that the Crew fans shouldn't be blamed for things we had no way of causing or controlling. What did we do? Is it our fault for showing up? If you want to place blame for the TFC incident it sits mainly with who was in control, with TFC security(who led us right into a group of TFC fans waiting for our group) and then with a few Toronto idiots that started insulting the group.

I respect and like alot of the Toronto supporters including the Red Patch Boys who have always been friendly. But, it's absolutely ridicoulous to blame Columbus fans for TFC security walking us out or 50 or so Toronto fans assaulting our group. Whether you believe it or not that we had a sizeable family in the mix that's fine(I'll tell you otherwise) but it doesn't matter because either way some idiots from Toronto representing themselves no doubt started it by waiting for us, taunting, and attacking a few in the front of the group. That's why some TFC fans were getting arrested by the cops. Both sides have attested to this.

These few idiots don't represent all TFC fans who for the most part are great. The same with a few idiots we have had. I would never place any blame on anyone except the few idiots. Trust me I know all about blame being placed on an entire fan base.

But, it's absolutely ludicrous that "We Need To Step It Up" when all we did was get led out of the stadium by security into some idiots who were waiting to assault our group. How is that a Columbus problem?

That's the only reason I'm bringing this up. If we did something wrong or could have some tetriary blame like our incidents earlier in the year then that's fine. We have took those incidents to heart and fixed them. We haven't had an incident in well over 3 months. But, we don't deserve to get blamed for being in Toronto and doing nothing to create that. We were there to enjoy a game.

I'm not saying blame TFC big time, it wasn't an extremely huge fight. But, if you want to blame someone, it's security first, the few idiots second. It's not a Columbus or Nordecke issue for just attempting to enjoy a game in Toronto. It's not a Toronto epidemic. They just need to be a little stricter like we have been doing on individuals who throw bottles and try to start problems.

This isn't a Toronto issue. It's just about cracking down on bottle throwers and people who are there to create problems. It's not a group issue. It's a security issue and they will figure it out, just like our security has improved.

I just get a little upset when I read garbage like this, that's all. Basically, Mr. Karzik is saying we have to disband for three strikes because TFC security led us into some idiotic tough guy Toronto fans that don't represent their group.

If that makes sense to anyone else, I congratulate you.
