Time For CSRN To Step Up And Fire Kartik Krishnayer

Mr. Kartik is you guessed it blaming the incident in Toronto on Crew fans mainly consisting of families, women, and children.

Huh? No let's not blame it on TFC fans who were waiting for the Crew fans outside of the stadium in large numbers, taunting them, and assaulting them or on TFC security who blindly led the Crew fans into the amassed Toronto fans who were out looking for trouble. Let's blame it on the five Hudson Street Hooligans who were there and the large Crew family contingent consisting of even nine year olds.

Are you serious? Not for the better? Yes, when there was absolutely no atmosphere or passion in the Crew stands or on the field the Crew were in such a better position. We were much better off losing on the field and in the stands. I just don't get how two incidents that the section detested(one by some random idiot and one incited by West Ham fans) can be such a detriment to tear down all the progress we have created? Do you want us to go back to an atmosphere like Dallas or Colorado? Mr. Kartik is on the other side of the country and has no clue what the Nordecke stands for in diversity, passion, and support (please come and check it out and see if you have a different opinion, instead of bad talking about us randomly for no reason 3,000 miles away). Nor, does he understand. Yes, lets revert to Colorado where passion isn't allowed and fans get red cards for getting rowdy. Jesus, some people make me want to puke. Get off of the proverbial Columbus back already.

And, okay, so let me get this straight? Toronto does something wrong and Columbus fans are blamed? West Ham fans come into our section and Crew fans are blamed? One racist idiot moron says something and then he speaks for our whole section? We take some responsible to clean up on the second two, we have, and nothing but positive things have happened ever since. But, blaming us for Toronto's problems is ludicrous. You make me want to puke. Where is this coming from when Columbus has cleaned up their act?

We have got rid of our most vulgar chants, we have done more self-policing, we haven't had a bottle thrown since New England because of this(unlike Toronto and a couple other teams who have lately), we haven't carpetted any players with streamers, we drove 18 hours to take a stand against racism in soccer with Chicago fans. We haven't had an incident since West Ham(which was over four months ago!) that was started by WEST HAM FANS SPILLING BEER ON PEOPLE IN OUR SECTION. WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT FROM US? WHERE IS THIS COMING FROM NOW?

Is this just something to write about when your bored? Let's trash on Crew fans on a Tuesday since nothing else is going on? What's up with the random left field abuse?

It's absolutely ridicoulous that this guy actually writes and works for CSRN.

Yes, we had two incidents months ago at the beginning of the season. We had one douchebag four months ago that yelled a racial swear word(we tried to locate him, it pissed us off, if I ever find him I'll personally choke him for the grief he has caused us and continues to cause us, he didn't speak for any of us, we displayed that by placing the "against racism banner" that me and other Nordecke members drove 18 hours to collect.

Furthermore, if dumbo's that want to keep bringing this up could take a look in our section: there are black, hispanic, and every background of people under the sun in the section who are not only La Turbina members, but a considerable ammount who are HSH members.





I just don't get it. We get blamed for Toronto fans attacking us and their security facilitating that. We get attacked four months after an incident we did not start. Some things in life I just don't understand.

We facilitate responsibility for what happens in our section. We have dealt with it effectively. But, to blame us for Toronto fans attacking our fans and Toronto's security gaff is uncalled for and well, random. This guy has been against Crew fans since the start, he has stated he is good friends with MLS Rumors, and I'm under the impression that from using the same pictures and stating his arguments earlier in the year in the same exact wording that he has been behind all the attacks of our section through MLS Rumors. Is this really someone that CSRN wants representing them? Someone who is going to blame the Crew for Toronto's problems?

It's fine to blame us for our stadium problems. It's fine to blame our security for not stopping the West Ham fans and to blame us for defending people in our section. But, to blame us for Toronto's problems is ludicrous and uncalled for. If anyone needs to step up, it's CSRN to get rid of such a garbage reporter as this guy.

The answer is not to punish Crew fans who have been on their best behavior without incident for four months. Who have eliminated their problems. Who are not responsible for Toronto's fans attacking our group consisting mainly of families. It's wrong to ask to disband our passionate section when our team needs them most during the playoff stretch. Plus, one Crew FO type I have talked to has stated that, "we are one of the things that has saved this franchise."

There is no reason why the Nordecke can't be passionate about their club and be on their best behavior without having to get rid of us for no reason when we haven't done anything wrong in several months and have gained complete control over the whole section. This abuse from Mr. Kartik is irresponsible and if anyone needs to step up it's CSRN.
