The Crew in Merz's article say they are treating this as a playoff game. They better be. After last week's humilating lost to a team Chicago brushed aside with ease, the Crew better be ready. If the playoffs don't start now for the Crew, they will end quickly.

"D.C. is an arch rival. We've got a chance to knock them out of the playoffs," general manager Mark McCullers said. "Certainly we have some payback there. You look at the history of the club. D.C.'s kept us out of the MLS Cup three times."
