Is it just me or has McJudas been struggling since returning to MLS? Better off with Barrett in the long term.
To be honest, I'm not very concerned about this game if we play all of our starters(minus Frankie and Moreno who are on national team duty). The Chicago Fire are missing Marco Pappa, Segares, and John Thorington. Big Pappa is playing for Guatemala, Segares is playing for Costa Rica, and Thorington is playing with the bench (suspension.)
The Crew are a much deeper team. Some fans will even entertain that the Crew play better or at least the same with Moreno and Frankie gone. With Moreno gone, you either have Noonan, Lenhart, or Garey stepping in. All who have shown their ability to step up and score in replacement of Moreno. Andy Iro comes into the backline with Frankie gone, and that worked well against the best offense, LA, last weekend. Iro has turned into a solid player after the all star break. Big Andy has even showed that he has been paying attention at the Marshall school of header goals.
The only Chicago player who is worth a thing this weekend on that field is Chris Rolfe (because he comes from Ohio.) Joking, in truth, he is the only player that Chicago has that is a offensive threat. McBride and Blanco are older than John McCain. Blanco can barely run with his hunchback and McBride won't get a touch on the ball for most of the game. McBride is only worth a thing with his head and when he has good servicers of the ball. Chicago doesn't have anything close to a Schelotto.
I also think that Thorrington, Segares, and Pappa are quietly some of the Fire's best players. Because the Fire lack depth, I think they will have problems filling those spots compared to the Crew.
