New York has just made it easier for the Crew to stifle their playoffs hopes this Saturday, as two of the Red Bull players were caught doping, by MLS officials, with either roids or some sort of banned substance.
Apparently, the energy drink wasn't enough for Jon Conway and Jeff Parke. The nabbed players who were caught by the two month MLS investigation.
The following sort of reminds me of the Rogers Clemens video (too bad Conway could never kick ass like this on the field):
(Jon Conway showing the box jump's what's up)
Me strong like bull. Makes you wonder how bad Jon Conway would be without roids? Because he is in my opinion the worst goalkeeper in MLS. With Conway's blunder the Crew will face an inexperienced player in the nets this Saturday.
The Crew will either face Danny Cepero(who has allowed an over 2 goal average in reserve matches), Terry Boss(acquired from the Charlotte Eagles with no MLS experience), or Caleb-Patterson Sewell(who has allowed an over 5 goal avg in reserve matches). Cross your fingers for a little CPS action :-).
None of the three have played in a first team game.
Whichever Red Bull goalie is between the bars on Saturday, the Crew will probably have a field day with. Get your blow out combs ready.
