Kudos To The Crew Fans That Made The Trip

I was really impressed by how everyone behaved after being on the bus for so long and having a few brews along the way. Everyone that went brought a good chanting atmosphere for 90 minutes and acted like classy fans.

You guys conducted yourselves with class.

Nobody really cared or reacted at all about the Fire fans having a checkered Crew flag (I sort of thought it was funny that they were waving the black and yellow in their section, didn't make sense to me). And, those Fire fans could have bought that at a local store or picked them up in July(those are FO flags, that we just leave lying around because they are inexpensive and don't belong to the fans) so kudos to those Fire fans for picking them up.

And, the scarf that the little pack of 10 15 year olds(makes you wonder where their parents are?) stole was from a girl who walked up to this group(for some unknown reason) while they attempted to throw rocks(yeah, umm that's a new one) at Crew fans thru a fence.

It wasn't very successful as they had about the aim of Jessica Simpson on a rifle range as they attempted to throw dirt and rocks at disinterested Crew fans attempting to board their bus.

All I did was laugh, say "that's cute," and get on the bus. It was pretty much a look of bemusement on the Crew fans faces.

I also have to say a job well done to the Chicago fans(other than this small pack of teenagers they seemed just as disinterested) and Monterrey Security(they got it right today no matter their past) as we were allowed to enjoy the game in peace. Alot more enjoyable that way and it was a heck of a second half.

Totally enjoyed my time, especially that 5 minute span with two goals.

Additionally, everyone that made the trip was loud, chanting for 90, and brought a good atmosphere. I was impressed with everyone's stamina after the long trip.

Good show on the road guys (and yes, I'm a Fire supporter). All bullshit aside, I was glad to see opposition in the house. Especially as you noted, you minded your own, and ours did the same....Sunday games are brutal in the sun. Of either of our groups though, I feel bad for the people who ran the Chicago marathon in the morning.

Yeah I think people need to tend to realize that I do some things on my website for a laugh.

I'm just trying to get our fans pumped pre-game.

I can give props when props are deserved. And, that was a nice tifo. And, I can give props when other teams fans leave us alone unlike TFC fans when we are about the most fascinating thing since wonderbread.

yea it was a kick ass time all around. the chanting on the bus was the warm-up for the actual event. gotta give props to Nordecke on tour because non stop pre during and post we chanted and were proud of the team. the highlight was celebrating the Supporter Shield victory in a hotel parking lot in Indy.
