The Crew losing to the Red Bulls kicks Toronto FC out of the playoff race. After that game TFC has no mathematical chance to make the playoffs.
Here is a funny picture posted by TO Devils on bigsoccer:
Kind of a funny message for a team that was still in the playoff race going into this game. And, right in the thick of things (albeit briefly) after a 3-2 win over Chicago on Saturday. A 92nd minute Cooper PK erased and they are still in the hunt. 12 goals allowed in the last 15 minutes this season by their defense scaled down by half and they are probably already in the playoffs.
Enough to make this conceded banner? Don't think so. Patience is a virtue and as with the Crew, good things come to those that wait. Get a striker to replace Dichio (guy can't leave TFC soon enough, he's like the 100 ft. man, legend wise that can't be left off the roster), get rid of Ruiz, and get everyone on the field together for more than a few games in the season and they'll be fine. Ricketts, Johan Smith, Wynne, Guevara, Barrett, Brennan, and company are not bad to build around.
So, when I look at this, I think, what a waste of banner material when you can actually make a banner to support your team.
