The whole affair on Saturday sort of reminded me of this. (Pic via: HERE)
Merz has an article up about the Crew getting reacquianted with losing, then hopefully forgetting quickly about that horrible idea. Click Here
Merz's mention of the Crew's last defeat on August 2nd made me think back. August 2nd was the day I moved to Columbus for law school(feels like an eternity ago). 10 games/weeks went by since that 2-0 loss to Houston along with the majority of my semester. During that time, the Crew stampeded over the competition without looking back.
This weekend, I gave a quick thought about returning back home to see the family and go to homecoming at my old college. I'm now superstitous that I did something wrong by even thinking about leaving Columbus. I wonder if Gino is having similiar thoughts of, "what the hell did I do to jinx us"? The Crew have never lost with Gino until last Saturday. To fix the curse, I suggest more Trillum Cup drinking for Gino with Frankie. I would say Supporters Shield but I'm not sure what sort of use the Supporters Shield can have other than a trophy. Maybe a big tooth pick?

Anyways, the Crew(according to Merz's article) is thankfully done with it's experimenting.
Schmid is going back to the usual starting lineup instead of giving Ez-no and some of the other backups another go:
"Obviously, we have to be smart about injuries but we need to get back to doing the things that made us successful and one way to do that is with the full team," he said. "It's also very important to put forth our best effort to show the fans how much their support has meant to our success."
Yeah don't worry about us. Just get back to winning games so us fans can get 80 yard Cepero balls and Ezra offensive foray's out of our collective heads.
