Then McCain/Palin. Not trying to get political(I have no major horse in that race, just looking at the odds), so let's be realistic KC fans:
Everything on the line,
Columbus only losing twice at home all season(last time in June),
The Nordecke being more hyped than ever,
Our team will rise to the occasion.
There is absolutely no way we are losing at home. At least KC fans still have faith.
vidivox: It will take a miracle to win in Columbus.
kcscsupporter on bigsoccer: hyperbole, obviously. columbus is a good squad, but i certainly don't fear them... even at their house. basically, i'm not exactly expecting to win, but i won't be surprised if we do.
I have seen many messages on their board like kcscsupporter, even with more faith, it's very cute. But, listen, their little team couldn't even beat us at their baseball field when we played not even close to our best and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. It would of been 3-1 if Schelotto could finish from 5 yards out.
On the other hand, that was close to the best KC has to offer.
But, hey props for them for still wanting to travel.
USA_KCW_CFC: I'm wondering how many we're taking to columbus. We have 5 driving up there seperately. Maybe more importantly i'm wondering what kind of people are going up there. If we're taking fans like the ones they brought down here then i don't want to waste my time, money and gas. If i'm going to drive 20+ hours round trip then we better have some peope that are willing to get rowdy and drown out those 10 year old girls from hudson street.
Come on you guys have a cute little group. But, all 20 of you or whatever don't even chant at home. I didn't hear a chant the whole first game while watching it online. Feel free to try to outdrown the 1,500 to 2,000 plus Nordecke. Good luck with that. Getting more delusional by the minute.
KC Has Much Less of A Chance...

Man, I don't know about you guys but all I heard from the CommunistAmerica Ballpark audio feed was a mariachi band that wouldn't shut up...until Lenhart scored.
Still, all of the KC guys I met have been great guys. I met two guys last year that drove in from KC for a thursday game, then drove the 10 hours back through the night in order to get back for work in the morning. Don't care what anyone says, that's a supporter for you right there.
90 minutes left for us to consider KC our "rival". Sorry I can't put them in the same category of DC or Chicago....just can't.
Yeah I can't at all. It's Chicago, DC, and then Toronto.
KC bores me.
And, that trumphet player was absolutely horrible. I almost contemplated turning off the audio just because of that.
FYI, if you can't play the instrument then don't play it.
And, that's cool about the two KC guys. I can respect that as I drove to Peoria for the Open Cup and back all the way to PA, 18 hours total in a day and got back home an hour before I had to work the next day.
But, the one fan dissing our 15 or so that were there(I was surprised there were that many a week in advance with how the economy is. Plus, most of us our saving our money to somehow slag our way to the MLS Cup.) And, actually thinking he is going to drown out the Nordecke is just laughable.
