Late Minute Lenhart Magic

So, this is what the playoffs feel like?

Gutwrenching, grab your balls fear.

The Crew had a gazillion chances and couldn't finish to save their lives. Until, Stevie Lenhart found the back of the net. Seriously, this guy should play the lottery.

Anyways, I was a little worried about going back to Columbus down a goal since most of our games are 1-0 wins at home. But, now the tables have been fiercely turned.

Next week it's the Crew at home(where they have only lost twice in 16 tries).
Next week it's going to be the Nordecke(I CAN FULLY GUARENTEE YOU) bringing the baddest atmosphere that has been brought all season.
And, although it's a playoff game, I think your going to be pretty surprised how packed it will be.

OHHH IM SO F'IN EXCITED FOR NEXT WEEK. NO MERCY AT ALL AND EVERYONE BETTER NOT HAVE A VOICE COME SUNDAY! LET'S PUT SOME FEAR INTO THESE FAIRIES.

Other thoughts:
--Couldn't hit the broadside of a barn tonight. Schelotto had two brillant opporutunities and we need him to finish those like he has done before in these stituations.

--We looked very slow in the attack tonight. We would push it up and then no one could get past the KC defense.

--Padula needed to mark a little better on that KC goal.

--Sigi worked it out with subbing Lenhart and Ekpo. I would of liked to see Ekpo in there sooner to try to get some speed on the field. I think we took a little long getting the subs in there after the red card.

--Alot of guys got the playoff nerves hopefully out of there system. They are home at a place they are used to playing at. They will have the crowd behind them. And, there will be no excuses to leave anything on the field.

I find it pretty improbable for us to lose. We have to step it up at home next week though.

I am with you Ryan!!! Next Saturday will be incredible. How about Frankie's try from 25 out? I thought our corners were terrible... Even so, we still regained the momentum at the end. That was a physical, fast paced game. Saturday, in our house with Nordecke... They don't stand a chance.

GO CREW!!!

Brad Evans left his mark and Gino was trying to cover his ass. I still think we play Eddie or Duncan in the middle and put Ekpo on the wing. The guy is a freaking silver medalist, let's give him a chance to prove himself.

10 bucks says Brad Evans is protected over Emmanuel Ekpo in the expansion draft.

i agree with anonymous, ekpo played all throughout the olympics, and we have barely seen him on the pitch since. lenhart is clutch and should replace moreno in the starting 11.

I don't know about replacing Moreno, he's more consistent and experienced. Besides Lenhart is better off the bench as a late game changer.
