Alot of good stuff from Media Day here via Chris Deville of Columbus Alive. Notables from the day include this big Champions sign that will hang at the corner of Hudson and Silver at the main entrance to Crew Stadium. Additionally, the Mayor of Columbus Micheal Coleman seems not to be a big fan of Toronto as well according to this excerpt:

Coleman challenged the Crew to take down Toronto FC this weekend in pursuit of the Trillum Cup, the trophy awarded to the winner of the season series between the clubs. He recalled his harsh words for the city at last year's media day: "I told you I didn't like Toronto then. And guess what? I don't like Toronto now."

Additionally although some were not blown away by Ekpo's performance in midfield according to this excerpt Warzycha seems pleased with Ekpo:
Warzycha was happy with Emmanuel Ekpo's play in central midfield Saturday, particularly his defense. Ekpo merely said he wouldn't judge his performance based on one game on a crappy field.
