3/26/09: Humor- Fake Letter By MLS Rumors

You might have seen what I have to think is a fake letter on MLS Rumors today. Nobody that has actually anything to do with Hudson Street would ever email MLS Rumors. If it was really a Crew fan then it's probably some 16 year old idiot trying to be tough. It wouldn't be anyone with a source. Not only HSH but every Crew supporter in the section has a dim view of MLS Rumors. So, either it's a fake or some idiot. None of the leaders of HSH have any sources like that expecting any trouble from anyone nor would they ever email that website. I think most Crew fans would just love to support our team without dealing with this crap.

But, somehow this is news. Unbelievable as it seems the letter was written by my 12 year old cousin. I just have to believe it is a fake because Ruby's is not a large group and everyone that has been there more then a hour knows of our dislike for that website for the bum rap it gives Crew fans. I just find it unlikely. And, really, who knows could have even of been a TFC fan? I'm sure Rumors sees an email and doesn't go fact check it with Crew supporters. They rather just post it and smear our image even more then they did in the past. I have to chalk it up as another Rumors attack against Crew fans.

Enjoy the game and have a safe trip. Both sides should just support their teams the correct and responsible way and ignore junk like MLS Rumors.
