4/3/09: Attitude and Confidence

I have to agree with Mike, I felt like committing seppuku around the 75th minute last night at Ruby's.

2007: Same Crew pretty much, no attitude and confidence, misses playoffs.
2008: Same Crew pretty much, wins some early games, all the attitude and confidence in the world, wins the Supporters Shield and MLS Cup.
2009: Same Crew pretty much, no attitude and confidence so far, ????.

You see where I'm going, hopefully the Crew gets a little inspiration from Frankie or someone cussing them out and they actually play like a MLS side on Sunday that has just won a Championship.

We sucked, period. Hesmer was a nightmare in the net. Not much else to say about this game.

[Also do you] remember Sigi's answer last year when asked early to mid-way into the season why if the 2008 team was basically the same as the 2007 team was the 2008 team playing out of it's heads and winning.

Sigi's answer: The early season wins gave them the confidence in themselves to believe they could win. So they did.

Buckle up boys it's going to be another long and bumpy season.
