4/6/09: Upcoming Section Plans

Be a part of keeping this going and hopefully with more hands, we can improve it.

We are keeping our designs and our plans on the down low from now on for banners and other displays. We put our stuff out there before as a way to drum up interest among Crew fans and to introduce the section to something that was foreign to some in the section. After our last two tifo displays went off better then I and the others probably expected, we feel that this isn't needed anymore. If everyone in the section is more than willing to hold up huge crowd banners and two sticks then they are willing to throw up just about anything.

Anyways, here's a list of people in to get together to work on a huge banner or some other display for Chicago so we can all PM and email each other (costs will be divided up as evenly as we can, some of us will pitch in a little more if need be). We just started talking about it today but basically we are just looking for people willing to pitch in $10-20 bucks and some paint time. We might be able to use Claddagh's roof to make huge ones. I'm also if anyone else is interested looking for some place to make maybe one decent sized crowd banner for this Saturday. Not nearly as huge as Chicago. But, I figure just to unfurl it if we score and drop maybe one yellow smoke bomb underneath. Not like 50 or anything like TFC, so shouldn't be a prob.

If I can get three people into splitting up costs and painting on like Thursday or Friday night. We could do something up Thursday night for $20 bucks a piece. Four people $15 bucks, Five people $12 bucks, Six $10 bucks, and etc. The more people, the better.

Just as sort of a practice run you know for Chicago. Also I would like to see us do this not just for rivals as we should bring our A game all the time. Plus, get some beers while doing this and it's a pretty cool way to distress.
