Moffat played in a reserve game against Louisville two weeks back and should be in good health for Saturday's match. The only concern for the Crew is that Moffat won't be match fit. Nevertheless, considering the performance of the team over the first four games, he should fit right in.
Hopefully he adds much needed grit to the central midfield on Saturday.
Excerpt from today's Dispatch:
Ekpo might be replaced in the middle by Adam Moffat, who could make his first start since undergoing season-ending knee injury last June. He will provide more "bite" than Ekpo, Warzycha said.
If Moffat does play, expect Moffat to get a nice round of applause from the Crew fans as we appreciated his play at the beginning of last season and are glad to have him back.
