i mean.. to be perfectly honest, last year got kinda boring. yes it was awesome with them winning all the time.. but blowout after blowout gets kinda boring. i remember going to the stadium every match day already knowing they were gonna win.
my favorite games last year (in no particular order):
- home opener : the pk block set the tone for the whole season.
- home vs chivas : great display by both sides. that klestjan goal was absolute class.. and it was nominee for goal of the year. i was standing behind under the stage and vividly recall the ball bending perfectly beyond wills reach. i shook my head while laughing to a chivas fan next to me, it was an awesome goal
- first home loss to NE : such a heartbreak and so much controversy in that game. very exciting to watch
- la galaxy away : i turned this game on beginning of second half when crew was down 2 nil (if i remember correctly). it was a roller coaster from that point on. i never liked lenhart but he became one of my favorites on the team when he got that game tying goal.
as far as this season goes, every game so far has been my favorite. win or lose (in our case, tie mostly), crew is the most exciting team to watch. us as crew supporters are in the midst of a championship showing their true might
