Spurious Happenings on a Saturday Night

(Pics via White Sunday's set of the CSU contigent, my pics with the Trillum are not up yet but there should be a few more sets to look at soon.)

On the way back the bus people shared our going out stories on the ride back to Columbus. And, some player sighting stories. Here are some crazy things that happened after the game:

**One Crew fan said he whoke up drunk in his underwear out in the hallway at the hotel in the middle of the night, locked out of his room, and had to walk down to the main entrance of the Renaissance at reception to get a replacement key. This guy is also seven foot tall with red hair, so just imagine an even taller Conan O'Brien standing in the lobby of an expensive hotel just in his underwear.

**One Crew fan got a cab from the Pizza Place on the corner to the Renaissance Hotel. Which was about 20 yards away. The cab fair cost him like 50 cents Canadian. And, he tipped 10 bucks.

**A group of three Crew fans in their 20's, okay myself and two female Crew fans(my attempt at big pimpin'), were after going out all excited by seeing Padula and Marshall from far away in the lobby bar. The one person was like, "that's Chad Marshall. And, that's Gino Padula." And, then they didn't realize they were in the elevator with Brian Carroll. So, the person then said, okay me, "and your Brian Carroll," sort of unintentionally creepily to Brian Carroll. We were totally a mess at that point. And then we mumbled something like, "good job."

Brian Carroll looked slightly terrified, okay maybe just concerned, and hit the buttons quickly. Sorry man.

**I went down the elevator earlier in the day after the game from floor four and Sigi comes on at floor two. And, I tried to play it all cool I was like, "what's up man." And, just tried to act like I didn't even care that I was on the elevator with the head coach of the Crew, Sigi. But, I didn't know what to say. Just me and the head coach of the Crew on the elevator. Kind of funny. Anyways, for some reason we talked about the weather. And, then I told him that, "he was doing a great job this year." And, he said, "thanks and thanks for coming." Or something like that. So that was cool.

Cleazer said my look coming off the elevator was hillarous.

**Lenhart, Miglioranzi, Rogers, Zayner, and Evans were playing a card game in the lobby. Zayner said they were playing, "22," unfornately I never heard of that game. If I did maybe I would of tried to pull up a chair and get some exclusive Crewture interview material. So, I just said, "that's cool" and walked off. All of us fans looked sort of like a bunch of tards just watching them play cards from a safe distance on the fringe of the lobby.

We were all probably totally blitzed looking. Most of us started drinking at 6 or 7 a.m. on the bus.

**Later that night the Trillum was brought down and a bunch of us fans drank out of it with Gino Padula. That was pretty fun and there should be some pictures up in a few days.

**Apparently later that night one drunk Crew fan gave Sigi a kiss on the cheek, which obviously annoyed him. I felt bad for him for that. (It made for a good laugh on the bus though). Some of us were 40 beers in at that time.

**Another Crew fan racked up a $400 dollar tab at the Renaissance bar.

**Didn't see Frankie or Moreno that night. Frankie came down with a cold. And, Moreno was probably upset about his PK. Let it roll off your back, Moreno. No big deal man. We're still top of the league.

**One Crew fan went to a bar/restaurant in Toronto with a couple other people. And, was looking for a bathroom. Couldn't find one. So went upstairs. And, it was an apartment but he thought it was the restaurant because there was no door, just stairs. So he just went to the bathroom in some random person's unlocked apartment upstairs from the restaurant unaware until walking back out that he was in fact not in the restaurant's bathroom, but an apartment.

**A female fan yelled at Blue Jays groundskeeper's from her window at the Sky Dome Renaissance after a long night out then tried to throw a yellow streamer out the window until she was tharwted by her roommate.

**And, I apoligize to my roommate, Smitty, for the female guest.

And for all the Crew fans that were not on the trip. If you wonder why the Crew is waving at the Nordecke from farther away this week against the Red Bulls. This is probably why? Lol, we laughed about that on the bus. I don't think they could handle the buses groups intense ammount of unsober shenanigans.

Anyways, the whole trip especially that part and the game was great. Thanks for dealing with us.

It would be like banging Erin Andrews after OSU crushed Michigan by 50 and the Crew won MLS Cup 5-0 over the Galaxy on tv, and MLS-tumors getting sued for libel all in the same day
