Attention Crew FO In Regards To Receiving The Supporters Shield

Bill Archer lays out the Supporters Shield history and how the award was made by the fans and exchanged between the fans here. Bascially, whoever's team has the best record from the previous year gives it to the new winning team's supporters.

In 2004 The Columbus Crew decided to give it to some random old lady in their ceremony:

She looks obviously estatic, holding the shield like it's a pile of dog crap.

So if there isn't a golden ceremony taking place in the Nordecke corner where it belongs this year instead of with grandma's, then it will be a complete ceremonial farce again. The corner has been there being loud all year even showing up on 40 degree days when it's sleeting when the rest of Columbus can't be bothered.

Hold the ceremony where it belongs (right in the center of the Nordecke):

Heck, DC is in town for the finale. Their fans can just bring it over.
