There has been a massively disturbing rumor that has popped up on a random South American website, Rojo Mania, connecting Ruiz to the Crew, with Schelotto leaving for destinations unknown. I call B.S. Schelotto has said multiple times that he loves Columbus and is staying and the Crew (via Mitchell's blog) have said that contract talks are going well and a deal will be struck for the Argentinian MVP canindate soon for next year.

The lack of credibility of this story has led to Crew fans blocking this thread in two hours. Doesn't really help when the rumor poster, posts the story on our thread. A couple posters on bigsoccer put it best:
Metaphoricly speaking, Schelotto has size 32 shoes. Ruiz wears 6s.

And, to the thread title of Ruiz to fill Schelotto's shoes in 2009, the reply from a poster was, "with what? dog crap?"

It's as easy as this:
Ruiz= 1 goal in 13 games.
Schelotto= 7 goals and 18 assists in 25 games.

Do the math, isn't happening.
